Immersive tours

We give young people a behind-the-scenes look at where discoveries become inventions.

Students will learn about the technology that science entrepreneurs are developing to tackle global problems - discovering that groundbreaking work is done by people just like them.

Hands-on workshops

With experiments focusing on concentration, accuracy and fair tests, our workshops empower young people with the confidence and skills to tackle future issues.

Typically led by pioneering scientists in the Science Creates community, workshops show students what it's like to be a scientists.

The Learning Lab

The Learning Lab is an inclusive, state of the art research space at Science Creates Old Market, where you have the chance to get hands on with experiments, behind-the-scenes tours of deep tech at work and have conversations with researchers and engineers. From curriculum linked workshops to spark young people’s interest in science, to adult team building sessions, The Learning Lab is a science laboratory in Bristol that is open to all.

Rent The Learning Lab

The Learning Lab is not only a place for discovering what it’s like to be a scientist - this state-of-the-art laboratory is available for private hire too.

With versatile layout options, an easily accessible ground-floor location and optional catering and bar access, this space can transition from a boardroom style meeting, to an interactive team building session run by our dedicated lab staff, followed by fresh food and drinks at the adjacent 1023 bar.
